The Kettlebell Goblet Clean (KBGC) is a simple, yet very effective exercise that demonstrates all 7 functional movement characteristics: natural, universal motor recruitment patterns, essential, safe, compound yet irreducible, core to extremity, high power producing. The KBGC is a great way to introduce new athletes to the more complex skill of the olympic power clean, and it can be performed with a variety of implements including; kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, boxes, sandbags, etc.
Daily Workout Challenge: For Time: (12:00 cap) 400M Run or Row then, 5-10-15-20-15-10-5 KBGC (53/35) Air Squat then, 400M Run or Row
(scaled) 200M Run or Row 5-10-15-10-5 (KBGC & Air Squat)
scale KB load to complete in less than 12:00; post Time, Loads, Mode of Transportation, and other modifications to comments.
